We organize an annual, 100% community-funded fireworks show on beautiful Lake Burton.
The show is always the Saturday closest to the 4th of July
Boat-Accessible Fireworks Show
When: 9:30 PM July 7th, 2018
Where: South End of Billy Goat Island, Lake Burton
Support: Suggested $50 per family
Our renowned fireworks show on beautiful Lake Burton, nestled in the North Georgia Mountains, has taken on a life of its own over the years. Stories have spread far and wide of the unique, boat-accessible fireworks show in celebration of our great nation’s Independence Day. We couldn’t be more proud of what our generous contributors on the lake have made into one of the largest fireworks shows in the state of Georgia. The fireworks echo throughout the surrounding mountains as viewers honk boat horns and whistle to celebrate all our nation has accomplished and continues to stand for.
Our rain delay policy is to delay the show up to one hour on Saturday night before postponing it until the following night.
The company Pyrotecnico, New Castle, PA www.pyrotecnico.com is again our show producer. They are one of the largest producers of fireworks displays in the world. They are fully insured via a $10M general liability policy and have an excellent safety record.
Promotional assistance from the following organizations is really appreciated:
Lake Burton Civic Association West Rabun Property Owners Lake Burton Road Runners Club (sponsors of the Lake Burton Fun Run)
To celebrate our nation’s independence as proud Lake Burton home-owners and free citizens of the United States of America.
To continue to raise enough support in individual contributions (suggested $50/family) to reach our goal of $38,000 which will cover our total expenses.
